Estate Services Assistant (Job share - 18.5 hours)

Our client is enhancing their neighbourhood approach and has restructured the service to give a greater focus on income maximisation and also have taken on the management of their retirement living service.
The role of their Estate Services has grown and they are therefore looking for an estate services assistant to join the team to continue and to further enhance the work of making their estates and communities great places to live.
You will work closely with other colleagues within the neighbourhood and communities team that lead on issues such anti-social behaviour and community engagement as well as with residents and the neighborhood teams. You will be highly visible on their estates and will be required to project a positive and approachable image with a right first time approach to your duties.
Duties will include:
Responding to enquiries regarding trees.
Inspection of trees, seeking professional advice where necessary, liaising with contractors and raising documentation.
Ensuring all required permissions and approvals are obtained by liaising with the relevant authorities and line manager.
The accurate reading of landlord utility meters.
As an Estate Services Assistant you will need to:
Have knowledge or understanding of the issues surrounding tree management
Be able to complete paperwork accurately
Excellent customer care skills and a willingness to take responsibility for a situation and achieve a solution.
Be a team player.
Be physically fit and happy working outdoors.
A driving licence holder and vehicle is essential for this role as an essential user allowance is paid.
