A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join our
client, a well-established Fleet Maintenance company, who offer quality
service and repair of fleet vehicles to their customers all over the UK.
Due to the increase in workload the business now require a Vehicle Technician for a minimum of 6 months who has a team orientated approach to work joining this busy department.
As a Technician your role will involve:
-Service and Repair of a variety of light and heavy commercial vehicles
-MOT preparation
-Completion of all relevant paperwork
-Good Knowledge of VOSA regulations
-Strong communication skills
-Diagnosing faults using appropriate equipment
-Timely communication with the TIC/Workshop Supervisor regarding any issues
-If suitably qualified - carrying out MOT testing
-Employing a right first time' approach to work
-Ensuring constant quality of work and working within appropriate job timings
-Repair of hydraulic drive systems where appropriate
This role is working in a modern, clean and dry workshop with up to date equipment no outdoor work to be done. You'll benefit from an hourly rate of £15 per hour, day shifts of 8am - 4pm, the opportunity for progression and permanent roles and working with a company who value Technicians with high standards. This would be a fantastic role for a technician who enjoys working in a busy workshop on a variety of vehicles, to realistic and achievable job timings and who gets the job right first time every-time

- Full driving license (Class 1 would be advantageous)
